STORY AND VISION

Christopher is from Blue Hill, Maine and spent the last 25+ years working in the maritime industry on jet drives, diesel engines, generators and joystick operation systems. He started out at Caterpillar as a diesel engine technician and CDL licensed truck driver, where he transported heavy machinery throughout Maine and Canada. He then moved onto The Hinckley Company for eighteen years, both in their production facility in Trenton, Maine and service centers in Southwest Harbor, Maine and Stuart, Florida as a lead jet drive technician and foreman.

His expertise is jet drives and diesel engines where he is certified with HamiltonJet and Marine Jet Power jet drives as well as Volvo, Cummins, Yanmar, Fiat and Caterpillar diesel engines, so he can provide accurate services and maintenance as per the manufacturer’s instructions. He has extensive knowledge of joystick operations and their computer systems on jet drive vessels; specializing in the Hinckley Jetstick Systems and Glendinning Products’ Complete Controls 2 Waterjet Pro Pilot Joystick System. He is also well versed with various boat brands such as Hinckley and Little Harbor, Metal Craft vessels, which are used with the City and County Fire Departments, US Coast Guard, Navy and Port Pilot vessels, and numerous yacht tenders' manufacturers. He is highly dedicated, determined, and loyal and will make sure your vessel is operable at all times, runs smoothly and receives the utmost care.   

Katie is from Syracuse, New York and has also spent the last 25+ years working in the maritime industry both on board various vessels and managing them shoreside. She spent her first eight years on board sailboats as a Captain and Mate on teenage adventure sailing camps, semesters at sea and private charters in the Caribbean, the Virgin Islands, New York City, Southeast Asia, and the Florida Keys. Following that, she spent eight years in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in yacht management where she oversaw the daily operations, code compliance and logistics for a fleet of super yachts. She then moved to Jupiter, Florida to work at The Hinckley Company in Stuart in service and operations management.

Her expertise is in vessel operations, yacht management, logistics and technical support. She is also very passionate about marketing, branding and creating the best product there is. She is certified with the International Maritime Organization in yacht safety, security and maritime labor management, has a Technical Certification in Logistics and Transportation and holds a US Coast Guard 100-ton Master’s license. 

Together, they make a dynamic team and with their collective experiences, they can provide their clients with high class, quality service. They are very prideful of their work and are extremely diligent so they can ensure your vessel receives the very best care. They are fair, honest and loyal and guarantee that you will be very pleased after having worked with them. They are happy to help however they can and look forward to working with you for years to come!

MEET THE TEAM

Nautical Marine Services was formed in 2017. Christopher is the President and Operator and Katie is the Chief Operating Officer. Christopher's son Ethan joined the team in 2023 as a Technician. And then Christopher and Katie's daughter, Piper, blessed all of our lives in 2022, as the Boss of us all! Together, we run a family business where hard work, dedication, integrity and loyalty are the principals of our business's ethics.
